[Shanghai Winter]

The Shanghai Family descends from the Dead Reckoner's oldest sister. What most people don't know is that the only son born to that sister was in fact the offspring of the her and the Reckoner himself after he became part demon. So all the descendants of that line carry a small amount of demon blood and consequently most members of this blood line exhibit some for of magic powers.

The Triplets-

The last descendant of the oldest sister a young woman of the family Shanghai was washing her laundry in the river outside of the city near her squabble of a home when a gang of teen dragged her into the woods and raped her brutally. Nine months later Summer, Winter, and Spring were born. Unfortunately their mother died giving birth to them and until they age of 4 they were raised by their grandmother, who then passed away in a mysterious accident. They were orphans, and soon they were split from each other.

Shanghai Winter was adopted but an abusive couple that used him for cheap labor until the age of ten when his powers first manifested. His father was taking him out to the wood shed for a beating because he asked for an extra piece of bread that day. When his foster father began to raise his hand to hit him Winter cried out to stop and put his hand up, at that moment a beam of cold shot from his hand and froze the man solid. Knowing that his foster mother would surly kill him for what he had done, and if she did not the local villagers might, he decided to run away. Life on the streets of Shanghai is hard for a 10 year old boy with manifesting supernatural powers. He soon found himself in a gang and using and dealing drugs. By the age of 16 Winter was a local crime boss, those that opposed him found themselves floating out to sea in a block of ice. Once he reached the age of 21 he had mastered his control over ice and the drugs he had use caused him to develop power to control his metabolism and the metabolism and life force in others. Having dominated the black market in his home town of Shanghai China, he would take his business to Paragon. He soon had a thriving drug empire in Paragon, till his brother turned him in to the longbow and got him thrown in the Zig. After Lord Recluse helped him escape he established the Evil Isles Dojo to take revenge on his brother and the rest of Paragon.

Shanghai Summer was taken in by a wealthy American/Asian couple unable to have there own children. He attended private schools and went by the name his adopted parents gave him Bruce Kim. Mr. And Miss. Kim then owners of a chain of fast food oriental restaurants called Kim’s Wok. Mr. Kim also was the sensei at his 3 martial arts schools. Mr. Kim instilled a strong sense of honor in his adopted son and supported his mental conditioning. SS excelled in use of electronics, computers, and robotics, to the point of using technology to enhance his natural abilities from his bloodline and control fire to do extreme damage. He also carries an assortment of other techno goodies while out clearing the streets of evil. Recently his brother sent 2 creatures in his service to kill SS. They didn’t finish the job though, well in truth they did, but doctors able to use extremely advanced micro circuitry to repair his brain damage and replaced his brutally destroyed hands with highly advanced cybernetics.

Shanghai Spring raised by farmers in northern California she has a great love for nature and the earth. When her powers manifested at 19 she decided that Paragon was the best place to do the least amount of damage to the environment and most good with her command of fire and radiation. She found her lost brothers here in Paragon now too. And though she didn’t exactly ask for it she carries the next generation…
